  Chinese Fried Rice (Serves 6)

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup uncooked Dainty Rice
  • 3 tablespoon salad oil
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoon soya sauce
  • 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup parsley, minced
  • 3 shallots, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon monosodium glutamate

    Cooking Instructions:

    1) Cook the rice accordingly to directions on package. Cool.

    2) Heat salad oil in large 10-12 inch frying pan. Break egg in pan. Stir quickly to cook egg. When done, shred in small pieces.

    3) Add the cooled rice and the other ingredients. Stir with a fork over medium heat, lifting and turning until warm (3 to 7 minutes). Serve as soon as ready.
