Barbecued Spare Ribs (Serves 6)
Ingredients:
Barbecued Spare Ribs
1 or 2 cloves garlic, crushed
1/2 cup soya sauce
1/3 cup sugar or honey
1 tablespoon grated orange peel
1 tablespoon salt
2 1/2 to 3 lbs. spare ribs
1 cup uncooked Dainty Rice

Cooking
Instructions:
1) Mix garlic, soya sauce, sugar or honey, salt, pepper and orange peel.
2) Trim excess fat from spare ribs, use pieces whole or cut in 2-inch
lengths. Place meat in a shallow pan, spread the garlic mixture. Let
stand covered in refrigerator, 1 to 24 hours, turning meat 2 or 3 times.
3) In oven, place meat in shallow dripping pan. Heat at 450 F. for 40 to
60 minutes.
4) Cook the rice accordingly, serve with spare ribs.
