  Chicken Soup MacDonald (Serves 6)

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 2 chicken legs uncooked
  • 2 carrots, peeled and finely grated
  • 3 fresh tomatoes
  • 6 to 7 cups water
  • 1/3 cup uncooked Dainty Rice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

    Cooking Instructions:

    1) Melt the butter in saucepan, add onion and cook 2 to 3 minutes.

    2) Remove the meat from the chicken legs, cut into long shreds and add to the onion, sear for a few minutes over medium heat.

    3)Add the carrots, tomatoes, water and rice. Bring to a boil, cover and simmer 30 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste and serve.
