Dainty Foods, a proud member of the MRRM Group, is publicly owned and operates Canada's only rice milling facility. Beginning in 1882, Dainty rice has been known as ''Canada's favourite rice'' a tradition that endures to this day. Dainty Foods imports, mills, processes and packages rice and rice by-products, selling primarily through a network of food brokers. The Company also establishes strategic partnerships in the industry to ensure the best possible access and exposure to retailers, consumers, food service operators, industrial processors and mass merchandisers.

In order to guarantee the highest quality products, Dainty Foods has continued to upgrade its facilities and quality control standards. The Dainty mill in Windsor, Ontario has the distinguished achievement of AIB accreditation. AIB ( American Institute of Baking) is a food safety auditing body who enforces the highest standards in the North American industry.

In addition, a HACCP program (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) is in place at our mill. HACCP is a systematic approach to the identification, evaluation and control of food safety hazards. HACCP works closely in Canada with the CFIA and with the USDA/FDA in the United States. Our Canned Rice cooking and sterilization process is monitored by CFIA (Canadian Food Inspection Agency).
