  Mushroom Rice (6 servings)

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups hot cooked Dainty rice (cooked in chicken broth)
  • 1 can (4ounces) sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 cup cooked green peas
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons diced tomatoes
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

    Instructions:

    Combine rice, mushroom, peas, butter, seasoning, and pimiento. Heat until vegetables are hot, about 3 to 4 minutes. Toss lightly.
